We did this to get into the Guinness Book of World Records, promote the Oklahoma Scottish Festival and to raise funds for both the Wounded Warrior Project in the US and Help for Heroes in the UK.
The kilt is roughly 25 feet long with a waist of 46 feet. We used Blackwatch tartan with the set increased five times larger than a normal kilt.
I want to thank the Frugal Corner Kilt store for helping us get this monstrously huge piece of tartan woven for this project!
As you can see, the Tulsa Fire Department from station 4 came to our aid as well. Thanks you guys!
