Kilts and facial hair. Two things that go together like PB&J. Why do the majority of kilt wearing mean have facial hair?

Post a Pic showing off your facial hair!

I hate you and your genes...

My Hispanic ancestry gives me that thin Zorro mustache. You have a glorious 'stache.

That's a beard?

So is this!

Fun bit of trivia... In the dreadlocked state, my beard had enough hair in the locks to reach down past my feet most likely. When I started allowing my beard to lock up, it was down to below my belly button. Near belt buckle level. After the locks formed, all of that hair shrank up and formed little dreadlings only about 2 inches long on my chin.

I miss them terribly.

One day, I will once again become the messenger of Cthulhu and the tentacles will return.

A lot kilted men really do wear beards... I wonder if it is related somehow to the kilt wearing. As a masculinity projection or the fact that we are more comfortable with our bodies. Or something.

Facial hair is frowned upon so much. Women are encouraged, even cheered on to show the characteristics of their sex, their breasts. Men on the other hand, we are required to strip our masculinity away in order to fit in and be part of society. Beards aren't readily accepted, men are required to strip away their defining gender characteristic to get jobs, be accepted, etc.

Just an observation. I'd said all of this before.

I still have the wallet, but the chain broke.

I thought it looked OK, seeing as how the sort of kilt I was wearing made it look appropriate, but you should have seen the sort of stink that it caused with a certain group of people who shall go unnamed. Wallet on a chain IS NOT appropriate traditional kilt wear... Teehee.
