Good Day Gentlemen and ladies,
I am new to the party here, and thanks to Puffer for directing me here from another, the lively banter, and at times not so politically correct views, very much suits my dry sense of humour, and self-depricating awareness, to not take oneself too terribly seriously.
I have worn a DIY kilt once to a local Burn's supper, enjoyed the heck out of myself, and am now awaiting a small, but precious package to arrive from Scotland. My goal is to, not necessarily replace my entire wardrobe with kilts, but to attain a better understanding of the kilt, as it has been passed through the ages.
Also to cater to the whims of the bonnie lass who presides over the estate whilst her head Clansman is traversing the continent in his lorry, hunting and gathering to keep the wolf away and the children fed.
Thanks for the place to facilitate our fancy,
Dan

welcome from Detroit, it's getting to be a drivers convention in here. We should start the Kilted Truckers Guild. Man, that's got a ring to it
