Hi BOTK-
I'm not sure what the policies for this kind of post are, but Robert Stobbs (Better known as "The Burly Piper" ) is a known piper in the community and has done much through his store (www.burleypiper.com) and piping to promote highland piping and culture. P/M Stobbs leads the #93 Legion Pipes and Drums in Canada. A devastating fire has burned their lodge to the ground and most everything has been lost.

P/M Stobbs has launched a donation site through chipin.com (I have used this site myself for fund driving-Completely safe and secure)) to help raise funds to get the band pipes and uniforms. This site is TOTALLY paypal friendly and you can donate a nickel to 1000$. No need to apologize my friend, This kind of thing gets done all the time around here, I would have put this in the BotK Charities section myself but where ever it is it's a worthy cause to say the least.

What makes me mad as hell, is that someone did this on purpose. The linked article says: " The fire has already been determined by police to be arson." Now what would possess someone to do such a despicable thing?

Our last lot of bushfires (worst in our state's history, over 200 dead & more missing, presumed) were deliberately lit. They have one perp in court now... guess what? volunteer firefighter. Some sick f**ks get chubbies over fires.
