What is your current favorite kilt?

Last week I received my digital camo Wild Outdoor/Wilderness utility kilt from UT Kilt. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the rear pockets but I hardly even notice them. They are there if I need them though. This one is currently my favorite (I have three utility and two tartan kilts from UTK and other kilts as well). While I like my tartan kilts, while I am at work, I prefer having pockets and not having to wear a sporran.
  2. I'm bummed that we didn't get enough orders.
  3. I have three from UTK. Two are the solid color utility kilts and one is a Blackwatch kilt. It is a good company, prices are great, shipping is fast and customer service is excellent. I will buy more from them in the future.
  4. Generally, I prefer my utility kilts because of the pockets and not having to wear a sporran. I work a janitorial job and I don't like my sporran banging into my jiggly bits with all the moving and bending I do all day.
  5. I used to be a pro photographer and still do nature and wildlife for myself. I like shooting. Off road in in my Jeep. Active in the Boy Scouts of America program so I also enjoy hiking, camping, canoeing and other outdoor sports. I am restoring a 1949 Indian motorcycle, it was my dad's last bike.

    Tacti Kilt Concealed Carry

I'm going to have to go check that out. My 1911 is too big for my sporran. I usually carry my Keltec PF9 in it and it is small enough to leave room for my wallet, keys and phone. I've been thinking about making a new sporran with a holster made in to it.

    Anyone Else Into Motorcycles?

I'm in the process of restoring a 1949 Indian that I got when my dad passed away and it was the last bike that he ever owned. Neat story, he bought it when he was in the US Navy and stationed at GITMO back in the 60's. The guy that had it was coming back to the states and didn't want to bring it back with him. My dad bought it for $1 (one). I have the original paperwork from the Navy transferring it to my dad and he rode it for several years. After he married my mom, he was trying to teach her to ride and she flipped herself over the hood of an El Camino. Shortly thereafter, she made him park it and it sat in a shed out back of the house for over 40 years until I got it. Needless to say, it needs a "little" work but I'm looking forward to working on it and getting it back on the road, in honor of my dad.

    Howdy From The Alamo City

Welcome to the group from Arkansas. I wish I was into kilts back in the early 90's when I was stationed at Ft. Hood. I agree that they'd be great for Texas heat.

    Hello From Missouri

Welcome from Arkansas. I use Photobucket and input the link under the button just above here that looks like a photo. It says "Image" when you hover your mouse over it. Just above the message that you're typing, that is. Just down and left of the smiley-face.

    Boy Scouts And Kilts

I forgot to post here but on Oct 9th, my son passed his Eagle Scout Board of Review. We're planning his Court of Honor for December 14th. I think it's a bit long to wait but we're wanting to make a big deal out of it. I'm a proud dad, though. Hopefully, I'll have my new MacLaren kilt before then.
