    Savannah 2019 Saint Patrick's day

Hello Sir It would be a long drive for me but I would like to see Savannah. Have you seen anyone else in kilts?

    Important Idea

I have an idea for an invention that I would like to propose to a company willing to do some pre-development work with me on a confidential basis. I have done some research on the US Patent Office and could not find anything like it.

Nothing Whatsoever To Do With Kilting, But...

I teach the ADD course for the National Safety council. Many states enforce the Bicycle Safety Act including Colorado and Massachusetts, does your state have this law in place? Was the cyclist making a left turn at an intersection?

    New Steampunk Outfit

The look is a bit like a costume, maybe it's the arm braces. Try on a solid color shirt. I like the kilt and the Steampunk theme very much kiltedmoon.

    Loud Mcleod

That's a very wide belt you have on. Does the kilt have belt loops? I like the kilt a lot Willem.

    Older Strength Athlete

I'm 56 and like a good workout. it's not my knees, it's my elbow that bothers me and when I am doing 110# presses I try to change not just the way I lift but use my biceps more, it's hard to explain, but works for me. I just have to concentrate more on the way I do things.

    What's In A Name?

My first and favorite car was a 1963 Oldsmobile and I picked out a cool model name.

Length And Height Of Your Kilt

I wear mine with the waist at the navel or just below the ribs. the hem will be at the top of the knee, so when I order a kilt it will be 24" long. I like the traditional look with casual kilts.
  11. When I do wear shoes I switch between boat shoes and clogs to sneekers.

A Man In A Kilt Is A Wonderful Thing At Any Age

How did you get your son to wear a kilt? I've tried to get my 14 year old son interested in it back in 2004 when I first started wearing them. He is so afraid to be teased and works hard at blending in with the crowd. My 11 year old daughter does not want to be seen with me when I wear my kilts in a store.
  13. Driver Education unkilted on Saturday. My wife's birthday is the 29th and she wants to go to the Olive Garden restaurant with the family and no kilt. On Sunday if the weather permits I will be tuning up the car wearing a kilt.

    Utilikilt's New Design

I don't mind this new style but it's not for me. If it attracts more people to the kilt though it would be a success. when I first looked at it it seemed to be put on backwards. The "V" looks like a thong. Power to Utilikilts anyway.

    Three Big Things In February....

I will be getting my third kilt this year and am considering ALT Kilt too.

My Son In His First Kilt

I only wish that I put my son in kilts when he was very young and took pictures. He is fourteen now and even though I discovered kilts in 2004, he will not wear them now.
  17. It was three years ago in Leominster MA. I was at a red light when I saw a gent walk by in a modern light brown kilt.

    What makes the Brotherhood?

I am most interested in other people's experiences, especially the privilaged who wear kilts at work and sharing mine as well. One area of interest for me is the Kilts Out In The World that I check most often. Looking forward to the day when kilts are more common. I work at a high school and try to spread the word to the students without harping about it and staying within the guidlines. Have even worn my Sportkilt on the job, twice a week and recently purchased a kaki Amerikilt.

    Another Tree Planting

I just planted ten White Fur trees I received in the mail from the Arbor Day Foundation. Planting trees is one of my favorite outdoor activities.

Just Saw A Kilt In The Wild

I would prefer not to draw attention when I wear a kilt and maybe the person you passed feels the same way.

    Kilted Wednesdays

That's great. What is the name of the college?
  22. I carry stuff, so I like pockets. The other reasons for prefering modern are low maintenance, and to be less conspicuous. I like the Irish tartans though and would like to try one on someday.

    Whole Foods

I was wearing my Sportkilt on Wednesdays and Saturdays teaching students how to drive. This went on for three weeks and then I got an e-mail along with my schedule reminding me of the dress code which says I can wear short p@nt$ or long p@nt$. When I get a chance to speak with them at length I will ask permission to wear kilts again on the basis that kilts fall under shorts guidlines at least for some people. It's funny how the owner of this mom and pop business makes up the rules and the daughter of the owner breaks them. Instructors are not supposed to play the radio with students in the car, but the daughter plays it anyway.

Regimental is best for me, and I wish underwear was never invented so we wouldn't have to discus it. If you wear undies, that's OK though.

    Kilt Wearing Ratio

I'm going to be conservative at 33%. I do wear my Sportkilt once a week in my part time job as a Driving Instructor when in the car. I haven't worn a kilt in the classroom yet.
