I decided I would try a rolled edge on a sporran lid. What do you think?

I cut a piece of garment leather an inch wide that is long enough to fit around the lid. I glue then sew right side to right side as close to the edge as I can get it. Roll the garment leather over itself and glue flesh side to the back of the flap. sew again to hold that piece down. Takes a little stretching, but, I think it looks great! Next time I do one, Which is going to be a hunter sporran, I will try to remember to take photos of the steps and post them.
