It seems to me that there are a few brothers both old and new in the Lone Star State. No I realize this takes in a LOT of real estate but could we start looking at a BOTK gathering somewhere to share our common love of all things kilty and hoist a few together. I am lookng for suggestions when and where and then how many people are we talking about, do we need a public house or and outhouse to meet in. Suggestions guys??Kilt on Bros.

In such a small state it shouldn't be too hard to find somewhere close to hang out. :D

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

The battle of kilt vs. Leitterhosen will finally be waged.

We won, at least, in my locale (I live in a predominately Germanic region).

Invaded the local Oktoberfest, couple years ago...

...ever hear a bagpipe go up against an 'oompa' band? No competition.

They conceded soon after we found the beer garden.

Now, back to the topic at hand...

Yeah, well. We didn't say Texas was bigger than anything, just that everything is bigger in Texas!!! (except for, well, you know... moose and grizzly bears...)

I'm in Rockwall, (east of Dallas). New Braunfels sounds like fun. I really like it down there. Besides, you can't beat good German food...

Now now AKG let's leave the women-folk out of the conversation.

But then in Dallas, we have this place...

http://www.trinityhall.tv/

I LOVE Trinity Hall... I just don't get by there often enough.

They have Kilkenny Irish Creme Ale, only available in the states in a draft format, an excellent beer from the makers of Guinness,. This stuff puts their black lager b.s. to shame.

And their bangers and mash is just heaven...

New Braunfels works for me with enough notice and never on the 2nd weekend (Navy duty).

Dallas area, of course, is better for me but not very central unless we get an OK invasion.
