My first and favorite car was a 1963 Oldsmobile and I picked out a cool model name.

My name honours the designer of the fjords.

Lots of Douglas Adams fans, on this forum.

You'll do well, here.

My name is Mark. My foster son (in the early 90's) startted calling me Markus Farkus. As an online name, I shortened it to Mkfarkus and then on the kilt forums I changed it to McFarkus in honor of my Scots ancestry.

In your sig photo, it shows you falling out of a plane. If you look closely at the blackness of the door, you will see my boot. I used to be a real kickass kind of guy.

At 9:40 in this film the caddy is called The Monk. I loved this episode as a little kid and Iʻve been The Monk ever since.

I just wish I could make the same noises.

I'm a homebrewer, and I'm a huge Halloween geek, so in dreaming up a name for my homebrewing "brewery" I went for creepy Halloween icon, the grim reaper, and what is his sickle originally used for? Threshing grain! So since I brew with sacks of grain I combined the two loves and came up with Grain Reaper.

And there you go, my name in a nutshell..

My nickname has been wolfman for as long as I can remember, from growing up hunting on the farm and throughout my military career. The fact that I wear kilts solely and make kilts made adding it to my nickname natural.

Kiltedwoodie . . . it's really quite simple; I'm kilted most everyday (that's the first part). And, I build wooden (strip) canoes and kayaks; that's the woodie part. Now you have it, "Kiltedwoodie."

I'm not smart enough to come up with something clever . . .

Semper Fi

Mine is just my initials and the year I was born. I needed a good generic screen name that would not change a few years ago and this was what I came up with. I have since used in on several forums.

Mine is because "sporranthusiast" just doesn't roll off the tongue so I used my second (or third) favorite kilt accessory, sgianendubhsiast! (By the way it is supposed to sound like "sgian enthusiast"

I've only ever used a few online names, the first of which was "kacivic". This started back in high school when I drove a civic (and it was never taken on forums), so I kept using it until a few years ago. Recently, my automotive interests have been anything but rice, and a name change was desired.

My first name is Jason, though I prefer just "J". Seems everyone who goes by such spells it "Jay", so to be different it's "Jae". Using the name I choose to go by as an online alias also helps as I'm on a few forums where I've met lots of members in person and in such instances we tend to call each other by the alias. Some forums don't allow such a short name, so you might also see me around places like advrider with the name "JaeWasTooShort".
