Drac

Couple More

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Getting more of the backlog done. The next two are one for the same co-worker who got the afzalia layin a previous post. This one is going to be a gift. He wanted the bog oak even though I didn''t have enough to make a sheath. He will be contacting Paul Long for a sheath -

Next is for a member of the forum pending his approval. This is a basic black walnut crotch. Not as fancy as some woods but beautiful all the same -

Oh yeah, now that's what I'm talking about.

Make sure I get some business cards too Jim. I know you have a backlog of work, but when my friends see this their eyes are going to pop out.

Do you have my address? And I need yours.

Only real trick to filework is practice, practice, practice and oh did I mention practice? I will recommend a good video though - http://www.texasknife.com/vcom/product_info.php?cPath=51_220&products_id=4238

It is where I learned how.

Thanks, got one more for a request for a forum member and three that have no owner yet. Once I get those done and a few turnings I should be caught up. Down side is I live in Texas and the heat will be climbing soon...
