APOCO-KILT PROTOTYPE!

Recommended Posts

First let me just say, HOLY MOLY! This thing is HEAVY! It is made from the same rip-stop material as my ACU's. If I was going to dream up a BATTLEKILT this would be it! It looks tough it feels tough.

The belt loops are MOLLE with molle strapping on the back, the belt loops are movable and you can attach gear to it!

The kingusse pleats are awesome. It feels good on and it moves well. It's a little stiff, but that is only the new fabric. I know that this will become as comfortabl as my very well broken in ACU's.

The pockets are removable and reversable. One side is just a plain pocket, unsnap it, turn it aroun and you have pockets with pockets! He even had a nametag made with my handle! This is an amazing MILITARY kilt! All the details and workmanship are phenomenal!

There is even apocket under the front panel. And yes, I know that it needs ironing, but I was very anxious to try it out! Oh, BTW it fits like a glove!

Wow... now that's a kilt I could use for paintball much better than anything else.

This magnificent piece of battle gear was made by OFCJAX! This is a serious Battle kilt! I had no idea that he would go overboard on this kilt. When we originally spoke he said that it was only going to be a basic kilt. Then he started pm'ing me with ideas. Well let me just say, if this is the basic model, then the deluxe kilt is a TERMINATOR and will be able to kick@$$ on it's own!!!!!!

Very cool. I really like attention to detail, especially the movable belt loops, "Front Towards Enemy", Warlock patch, and so many pockets. Truly a great kilt!

Thanks for all the KIND words there folks. I'm making a Multicam version for Crisis12 out of Ripstop as well and a black cotton canvas one for myself that I'd like to have done and wear to the Celtic Fest in Eminence this week.

Madame, Not only can I sew, I can do things that would put a pornstar in traction for 6 months!

Warlock, I take it you're happy with it? Like I said to you and I'll say it publicly as well, ANY complaints or ideas need to be expressed. This was THE prototype so future version will have learned and adapted from this one.

I spoke to a company about getting some labels made up so one day I can retrofit yours with a tag. Any chance you can take a shot of it on with the ACU top? I know it's the exact same material and cut the same way but I'm curious how they'd look together.

I've got two to finish before I think too much about it but I have considered the time needed to make them (the pockets take as much time as the kilt itself) and was thinking one every two weeks wouldn't be that big of a constraint of my time.

I always use the men's room, the line is shorter.

Sorry about that. I've been laying out and took Jake for a walk today. It was a little hotter out there than I thought. :KILT:

Wait till you see the flashes that go with the kilt. It also has a surprise!

COMPLAINTS?!?! HELL NO! As a matter of fact if my Wife wasn't laid up with a bad back, We'd be doing the porn star stuff right now! I took full uniform pics just a few minutes ago. I had to wait for my son to get home. As soon as he's in bed, I'll go downstairs to my computer and post them! Yes I know the top isn't supposed to be tucked in, but if I had left it out, it would have covered part of the kilt. I like the little pocket on the flashes! this thing is full of surprises! I need to get a foliage green or ACUPAT cover for my holster now, so that it will match. I will be honoured to have your label retro fitted! The Logo for this kilt should be a mushroom cloud with Apoco-kilt as a ring going around the stem, or a terminator skeleton in an Apoco-kilt, "YOU'LL BE BACK!"

Sweet!

I especially like the "front towards enemy" claymore tag!

The claymore patch was mine I just added it for effect. I have a few more on the pics that I'm posting later!

That is one manly looking kilt! The claymore warning is hilarious too.

Very fine job you did.
