  1. Great story and a worthy project... Let us know as this one comes together!
  2. Greetings, friends. It was about this time a year ago that I ordered a TDK and waited months for delivery... Only to find that the good folks at 5.11 were measuring by p***s size, and thus delivered a fine looking summer weight modern kilt that is multiple sizes too big for me. The 5.11 website was clear at the time that last year would be the last time that the TDKs would be available (and thus, non-returnable), so the forlorn and never-worn kilt has hung at the back of my closet for months. So I have a brand new, "coyote" (I would call it "medium khaki") TDK in p***s size 38 available for any BotK brother interested. Proper kilt size is probably 40 or 41. The kilt is absolutely brand new, only tried on the one time. The material appears to the same Teflon treated ripstop that 5.11 uses in many of their products. Anyone interested? Send me a PM and I'll ship to the first BotK member who makes a fair offer.
  3. Just wanted to take a moment to remember those who have paid the price for our freedom on this Veteran's Day weekend. And a sincere Thank You to everyone out there who still serves.
  4. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
  5. Austin Celtic Festival and Highland Games is always the first weekend of November...

  8. I'll tip a dram to honor your ode...
  9. Greetings! Would love to see photos of your work...
  10. Sorry to learn of your loss, friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
  11. Small minds spend their energy peddling out drivel and hate trying to bait others down to whatever low plane they inhabit. "Any fool can tear down a barn, but it takes a carpenter to build one." I try not to waste my breath engaging such small-minded fools. All our hours are numbered, and they simply aren't worth any of my limited time. Now, on to more worthy pursuits... Slainte mhor, BotK brothers!
