  1. I've been gone from the forum for white a while. I just wanted to stop in and say hello to all those who remember me. I also had an update to a post I made on clan history. After my previous job of 17 years closed doors, I was out of work for a year. I now work for Oldcastle Buildingenvelope. It is a glass plant. We sell heat treated glass and manufacture it into insulated windows. We also laminate it. We actually made the windows in the spire of the new world trade center. We have also made windows for the cowboys and patriots stadiums.
  2. Since I originally posted this topic my mother unbeknownst to me was doing research of her own. She found out quite a bit. My 6th great grandfather was named Thomas Cochrane (the e was drpped in the US) He was born in 1691 in Ochiltree, Ayrshire. He died in 1778. He was the 8th Earl of Dundonald His parents were William Cochrane, and Lady Mary Bruce of Kinchardine
  3. The Beretta 22 is a good pistol. I have known a few people who owned them. I have a Ruger Mark III Hunter. It fit my hand well and is a very reliable design. It is very fun to shoot. It is also my home defense firearm now. I did have a Beretta 40 cal, 96FS Inox. I sold it last week for some extra cash.
  4. Skullsplitter is one of my favorites. It can be hard to find in this part of Ohio. I do know the the company was purchased a few years ago. I think (hope ) they still make it. I did see a different label online a few months ago.
  5. He was a nice sized buck. My father, a friend, and I helped drag him from the woods. I believe he was making a batch of jerky last night.
  6. I have one of his three inch belts and the straps. Very high quality.
  7. I just wanted to wish everyone here a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope everyone had a good time. Here are a few recent pics of me & my family. (no, I am not kilted in these pics) Julian is fourteen. Isabelle is twelve. Stella will be six months old on Jan 29th.
  8. LOL....looks like fun. I was expecting photos like my trip to the Mackinaw Mush a few years ago. Some friends and I went to the dog sled races in Mackinaw City Michigan a few years back. We camped in Wilderness State Park (?think that was the park). The ranger had to snow shoe to our camp site to collect our camping fee. It was cold but fun.
  9. Thanks everyone. I have an infants kilt for Stella. As soon as I get some pics I will post them.
  10. for deer season to get here.

  11. My favorite of Stella. Jean snapped it a few days ago. Stella kicking and playing in her crib. Two months old that day. . Stella doing her Billy Idol impression. Stella has the cutest smile. Stella excited anout the mobile in her crib. A recent pic of Isabelle and Julian. I almost had to threaten bodily harm to get them to put their arms around each All three kids together. Julian is 14, Isabelle is 12, and Stella is about nine weeks.
  12. Very cool. It looks like Tina has finally accepted you wearing a kilt. Happy Belated Birthday old man. I'll see you during deer season.
  13. Same here. Rygar and I worked there together. He and I have lots of fond memories of the area. I think we drove his Chevette into the ground up there.
  14. Very cool pics! Not something I would expect to see in a country band. btw Gary Allan is one of my favorite country artists.
  15. I'm very happy to share with all of you that our little girl Stella Sunshine Marie Greene has arrived. She was born on Thurs July 29th at 2:28 in the afternoon. She was eight pounds, 4 ounces.
