Celtic Torc

I am wanting to replace a torc that was stolen or lost at a highland games competition. any of the vendors here make or sell torcs?

I had one that i got from the celtic croft and like i said it was either stolen or left at a highland games. i found one that is awesome looking it has two lion heads as the caps.

I know this is an old topic but I also wear a torc all the time

I am not sure about the whole 'Permanent' part of the torc, metal bends many ways... I can't imagine running or dealing with that during my day at the gym.

well the torc that I am wearing permanently is very hard to bend

it is 19mm thick solid brass and even using a big vice to squeeze it together

and it did not bend easy

At 5 years old, I took unbreakable combs as a challenge.

Knocked out a few of their teeth, bent a few up, by which point they would be taken away from me for some reason.

same here,they don't break easy

but the torc can not be bent by hand

yeah, they have the same ones that the crafty celts do, but they do their own braiding.

How bad do the brass turn the skin green? I sure can't afford the 450+ for the silver....

so far no green skin and I have been wearing a torc since last June.

it is only more recently that I put on the big one permanently but

in the few weeks that it has been there so far no green skin from the torc

well as much as I did not plan on it

I need to remove the big torc.

the 2-3 lbs is making pinched nerves in my neck.

I will stick with wearing me Crafty Celts bear torc

Emailed them earlier this wek, and the crafty ones said I should have my torc early this next week.
