Your Favorite Shoes To Wear With A Traditional Kilt

Recommended Posts

I normally wear boots with scrunched socks:

Or boots with hose pulled up,

So I guess it usually some sort of boot, I do have a pair of Born brown leather sneakers that I dig too.

I wore my traditional wool kilt during a visit to Scotland while sporting a Chatahoochee Harley-Davidson t-shirt and brown Skechers at Falkirk & in Stirling castle and then with that brown polo in my profile picture at Loch Ness. Good times.

I have an old pair of combat boots and a newer pair of Rocky's that I currently wear. I am going to purchase a pair of Dr. Martens and Ariat Lace-ups soon!

Just bought a pair of ghillie boots from sport kilt, they look good and can be worn either formally or casually.

I saw them on their site the other day.

I have to wonder, though, how they'd do on my super-wide feet (I wear 13EEEE most of the time).
