Milwaukee Irish Fest 2014

Recommended Posts

New fest and it looks like I will not only make it this year but I may get down to the Twin Cities for their irish fest too. Highlights for me in Milwaukee this year include: This will be the final performance for Different Drums of Ireland and one of the stops on the final tour for Black 47. Dougie Maclean, the writher of the song "Caledonia" which is covered by alot of bands will be there. Gaelic Storm and Scythian wil both be releasing new CDs. Gaelic Storm's will bne a new greatest hits package and their new fiddle player is hot. Scythian's new CD (I already have it) is called "Jump at the Sun" and has great covers of the songs "New York Girls and "Those were the Days." And to top it all off the Red Hot Chili Pipers will be filming part of their performance for thir new DVD. Lots more info and goodies on the website.

I'm hoping to have enough time to get over there- it's only on the other side of town but something always seems to come up.

I definitely want to see RHCP again, their live shows are fantastic.
