Posting Permission Changes

Recommended Posts

It would be great for members (at least vetted ones, not new applicants) to be able to paste text and links into their new posts before submitting. I do a lot of DIY projects, and have the lengthy descriptions of the HOW-TO and links to photos that I share on several forum boards.

I'm less inclined to share them here, because I have to type the entire body of text and links without being able to simply copy and paste.

As an Administrator on several forums, including vBulletin and phpbb based ones, I know that it is a simple task to adjust this setting in the Admin control panel.

So how about it? :)

I'm going to resurrect this suggestion, as I feel it is truly worthy of serious consideration. I do wish that Pasting was enabled in the New Posting editor. I don't post reviews, DIY descriptions and other lengthy conversations here as I do on the other forums because it is just too much of an onus to retype all of the text, photo links etc. into a posts here as required with the current permission settings.

How about it?
