Cigar Sgian Dubh-Brew

Do you think just doing a clear coat of nail-polish or something like that, might accomplish the same effect?

Consider how these items would be used. While you may carefully insert it into your hose top & remove only to use occasionally, others may not be so cautious.

It'll get dropped, tossed, sweaty, greasy from eating, ad inf. How well or long does nail polish adhere to fingernails?

The clearcoat must be compatible with the polyurethane and its gotta be durable & slightly flexible like polyurethane. And it's gotta be thick enough to protect a paper cigar band, yet thin enough to show details.

To my thinking, I can offer these as they leave the mold and finish with a blade, opener, cigar punch, .380 barrel, or whatever. They ain't gonna have a cigar band. If no one choses to purchase, I press on.

That's cool, I was just trying to think of ways that might work to get it to look how you wanted it to look. :)

Instead of a bottle opener you could always put some sort of cigar punch or cutter on it.

That's not a bad idea. I have a source for punch cutters. Think there'd be much interest in a faux-cigar-sgian punch cutter?

There would be from this "see-gar" smoker! Also, a hallow for a disposable lighter or matches with a striker down the side would be very beneficial. I say go "ringless" so the end user can use one of their favorites.

I was just thinking the same thing about putting being able to change out the bands on it. Now if you could have a punch in one end and a torch lighter in the other....
